Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art Expanding Summer Programs

The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art expands its programs reach more kids.  "We wanted to expand our reach to even more children this summer with more fun and exciting programs," said Dane Pollei, Director of the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art.
 
It's Alive! Flipbook Animation is for fifth through eighth graders.  They will learn to turn their drawings into a miniature movie with flipbook animation, taught by Daniel Lay.  This workshop will be Saturday, June 13 from 1:00 - 3:00pm and is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
 
Also, new this year is a program for the youngest artists.  Primary Partners is for children 3-5 years old.  These young children will enjoy visiting the museum and making unique artworks with a parent or grandparent.  Primary Partners are scheduled for Saturdays, June 13 and 20.  These sessions will be taught by art educator and local teacher Lynn Pollei.  Each session, for a child and an adult, is $15 for members and $20 for non-members, each additional child is $10.
