Katherine Liontas Warren: Oklahoma Perspectives

Katherine Liontas-Warren, Professor of Art at Cameron University, holds a Master of Fine Art degree from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University. For the past 27 years, she has exhibited in over 20 Solo shows and 275 national and regional juried competitive exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe, and has received numerous purchase and juried awards. In 2011, she was the recipient of the Bhattacharya Research Excellence Award at Cameron University. Many of her prints and drawings are in permanent collections throughout the nation and can be located in university galleries, museums, and private institutions. In 2010, the Paseo Art Association awarded her "Artist of the Year" in Oklahoma City. Recently, she was featured in the documentary Earth Chronicles Project, the Artist's Process: Oklahoma.
