Wherever You Go: Maps from the Joe Marenghi Collection
July 8 - August 21, 2011
Opening Reception, 7:00 pm, July 8
Historical maps were created both as art objects and to convey information about new worlds and far-away places. Wherever You Go highlights the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art's collection of 16th & 17th century maps.
Membership Social, 7:00 pm, August 12
All members are invited for a special members-only social featuring Dr. Karl Offen, Associate Professor of Historical Geography at OU, who will give an informative talk to compliment this exhibit. Musical entertainment and banana splits will round out this entertaining evening. You won't want to miss it! Become a member or renew your membership now.
