Friends of the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art
The Friends of the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is a membership affinity group that acts as the core of the museum's partnership with the community.
A specific group of volunteers, Friends support the museum by acting as the museum's ambassadors to the community, hosting exhibition receptions, working in the courtyard and gardens, volunteering for fundraisers and events, and sharing their enthusiasm for the museum's mission with friends and neighbors. Through their annual dues, Friends also provide financial support to the museum by underwriting projects, including beautification of the museum's courtyard and gardens, and purchasing equipment. Friends enjoy engaging social activities, including monthly luncheons, exclusive education programming, art-inspired excursions, and "Friendsider" museum news.
Friends dues are $15 annually + a museum membership at any level
Friends enjoy a social luncheon the third Monday of every month (except June, July, & December) at 11:30am. Friends and guests are welcome.
- A business meeting precedes the luncheon at 11:00am; all Friends are invited to attend.
- The MGMoA Volunteer Society is now the Friends of the MGMoA
