Curator Talk and Reception: 7 pm, August 11, 2017 This event is free and open to the public.
The Art of Color explores the use of color in art, from how the pigments are created, to how colors affect us, to how we perceive colors. This exhibit includes contemporary paintings, Pueblo pottery, an ancient Persian bowl, a Chinese vase from the Qing dynasty and so much more. All of the artwork in this exhibit is part of the collection of the MGMoA. There are several hands-on activities as part of this exhibit allowing kids of all ages to explore how colors affect how we see the world.
